The location of the house is also perfect for ecotourism, outdoor activities and for exploring the natural beauties of Crete.
The construction, was focused on the minimization of any negative consequences on the environment as only  renewable sources of energy were used such as wind and solar power and natural gas.

The place is absolutely ideal for the eco tourism and outdoor activities. That is why:

It is located between two mountains, which are offered for specific forms of tourism (Psiloritis and Lasithiotika Mounts).
The approach to the north and south coastline of Crete for daily excursions and tours is excellent.

Nearby the Villa are found archeological places (Knossos, Archanes, Vathipetro and Giouchtas), monasteries (Agarathos, Spiliotissa and St. George Epanosifis) and Byzantine castles.

The guests during their accommodation have the chance to enjoy activities and services by getting in contact with the couriers, who are experts in all types of activities, in order to form the appropriate program.
The support in taking part in special activities like climbing, walking tours, cycling, camping, speleology and others, is possible.
The participation in supplementary-agricultural activities inside and outside the building plot, for example gardening, grape-harvest, wine-production, oil-production, oil-harvest, tsikoudia-production (traditonal drink), and are also taught how to deal with the Cretan cuisine, visits in places of traditional handicraft activities and farms and others, is also conceivable.
